you wrote your number on my palm but it came off in the rain.

bah! friday already, i am so spent this week! too much excitement and activity.

saturday night- had a gorgeous night with all my friends for my birthday, my friends are something else let me tell you, something pretty special. they made everything about turning 27 feel right, i also realized how assorted they are, and how amazing it feels to have all of these stunning beauties in one room, pretty killer.

sunday- went to the buffalo bills game, 30 yard line, 2 rows behind the tampa bay bench, unreal. my body wanted to sleep, but my eyes seeing my FIRST EVER NFL game were pleased as punch. looking good rodd, even though your game needs work. bills took the win, and they deserved it. thnkyouthankyouthankyou for letting me experience this, even though dallas lost to the stupid giants on sunday, i felt the love of football in the air, and quite possibly in the man's pants beside me.

monday- actual day of birth, hung out with my fam (this includes jb), and it was a lovely way to spend the evening.

tuesday- clients, jb hang times/ hot dog eating.

wednesday- i can't even recall

thursday- sighsighsigh. picked my fair beaner up from the airport way early, had breks and girly chats, brought layla to work, and had a 'city' night of baby hueys with all my lovelies! (spence, robin, robyn, colleen, hayden, kin)

fall is here- and i love that. time to button up and bust out some cute boots.

maybe i am allergic to french mussels.

not sure if it is birthday woes or not, but this week has had me beat, i have had hissy fits left right and centre. Urrbody last week throwing hissies! bah!

birthday is on saturday, here are the details:

place: the central
where: on markham (mirvish villiage), pretty much the backyard to honest eds.
when: 19th, say 9-ish

if you want to join for dinner at around 7pm- we are going to ka-chi (korean joint) at the corner of bloor and palmerston, best kimchi stew ever!

this is oddly comforting:

Andy Warhol: I wonder if people are going to remember us?
Edie Sedgwick: What, when we're dead?
Andy Warhol: Yeah.
Edie Sedgwick: Well I think people will talk about how you changed the world.
Andy Warhol: I wonder what they'll say about you... in your obituary. I like that word.
Edie Sedgwick: Nothing nice, I don't think.
Andy Warhol: No no, come on. They'd say, "Edith Minturn Sedgwick: beautiful artist and actress...
Edie Sedgwick: ...and all around loon.
Andy Warhol: ...Remembered for setting the world on fire...
Edie Sedgwick: ...and escaping the clutches of her terrifying family...
Andy Warhol: ...Made friends with eeeeverybody, and anybody...
Edie Sedgwick: ...creating chaos and uproar wherever she went. Divorced as many times as she married, she leaves only good wishes behind.
Edie Sedgwick: That's nice, isn't it?

you can't call them adults when you are 28.

oh hey- a few things.

1)layla is going internet! her pictures have been requested for the potcake website, they wanted to show how happy she was now that she's not homeless. sigh- my baby is growing up.

2)conor- when i ask you what kind of people will be at your wrap party, don't answer ' a bunch of adults', WE are adults, i felt like i was 14 and we all had to figure out who's house we wanted to underage drink at based on who's parents were home.
Congrats btw, and i don't owe you one because i neglected to reschedule a cancelled haircut.

3)sidewalk hogging- annoying. please don't do it. it forces my dog and i to walk on the road and almost get hit by a cab. last night's walk home from bellwoods was kind of frightening.

i am sleepy and grumpy. sorry, oh and i want this ring from urban.

thank you jenny dames.

for putting this on the map for me.

bravest mouse indeed.

night cleaning gypsies.

oh hi, these are my new glasses-ish.
i am steamed about it though. i had glasses before, and i left them on my desk at work, thinking they were safe. i was terribly wrong. in the 12 hours i was away from my desk, the night cleaners had managed to break my glasses and put them back on my desk sans one arm, thinking i wouldn't notice. i noticed...and because my glasses were 'silhouettes' the arm could not be replaced because it would need to be re-threaded thus costing more than new specs.

'that's a good story laur- you should tell it to simon'
