daydreamy and dusty.

when am i not lately- why isn't it sunday. or at least friday. weekends have been so good to me lately, they're making work feel like a bummerama.
watched home alone 2 for the first time ever on sunday- how is everything macaulay culkin touches gold?? kudos culkin, you're still cool in my books.
i am killing an egg nog latte at the moment- christmas is soon and nathan phillips square was supposed to open last week, the christmas season is lovely to say the least. i cannot wait to get under blankets with some good flicks and watch it snow, or run around during the first snowfall when everything is so glittery and perfect in the air. sighsighsigh. take me there please! and if not there, at least to california to dip my toes in the ocean.

one.

i have started writing this post over and over again these past couple of days, and i can't find the words, not because i don't remember, because i can't seem to get my thoughts in order.
you dreamed big and then you made it happen even bigger, you were true to your word, you were strong and complete. i am proud to have been a part of your life, however small my role was, and you will never be forgotten. take care of apollo.

i do.

so, after the past four years of being jaded by circumstance and my childhood ideas about marriage being squashed likes crunchy autumn ladybugs, i have finally come to the realization that i actually would like to get married. i have talked a lot of smack on it in the past few, but some new, inspiring, and brilliant ideas on the topic have been realized over the past couple months (mostly amy and stu's amazing relationship and watching them prepare for their baby girl), and i am really liking the sounds of caring about someone enough to build a life together. basically i want to go ice skating with someone for life, make pies for our families, and knit blankets to keep us warm. geesh- who am i today? i love how colorful my life is lately, even on the dark and cold days. xo

bursting with sweetness

friends are lovely. here are a couple of reasons why i love my friends today:

1) goodnight message from katie- 'nighty night my blonde princess of poetry, my queen of scissors and pirouettes, xox'
pretty amazing and guaranteed to give you a wonderful sleep.

2)jordan packed a lunch for me today, jambalaya. sweetness.

love you guys, every single one of you.
