it's days like today that make me want to watch a million horror movies, bake a pie, go horseback riding, make soup from scratch, watch football with some home made chili, curl up with a book/bot/bubs/or all three, sip tea in the backyard, take a jaunt through high park. i know this is premature, and i don't want summer to end, but there are some very quaint and endearing qualities that fall presents. life is pretty just doing what it's doing.

hey y'all! just a lil' sneak peek at what i got up to on sunday- my room is coming together nicely and we're working through the dining room this week! i feel very accomplished having just moved in and i feel very zen in this teeny little space. sigh sigh pie in my eye! it felt like there was romance in the air today- walking through a park on that 'omg- fall is coming in a little' morning makes me want to jump into my bubs' arms and grab a earl grey tea, we started going steady in the fall and all the daydreamy and dustiness ever since has changed my life completely.

so....i am a huge dance nerd, and i really love 'so you think you can dance' and this season i have been really into robert. his lines are so brilliant and his arms/legs just don't quit, he's like a graceful giraffe man! tonight it's down to the top 3 and i am really pulling for this dude. VOTE ROBERT!

girlhaus is almost here- another 48 hours and i am living in the lap of luxury with two far-adical ladies and a million pets! yipppppeeee!

geesh- guess who doesn't want to work anymore this week? and i just wolfed down some 'amy's vegetable lentil' soup and it tasted like dish soap, ewyuck.

mouser wants to go to the country

'sup? this weekend was such a tease, nature, beauty all around, easiness, breeziness, wind ticklin' my knees while i napped outdoors. it felt like a dreamworld, and my mister's parents are so so so sweet! they make me feel all at home and warm. i am starting to think a lot about the country- the life, the little amount of hustle and bustle, the trees, the grass (that is found everywhere, not just in bellowoods) and it seems like a dusty life of perfection.

this week is packed with tons and tons to do! moving on sunday, getting things done all week, it is a crazy little week let me tell you- the hard work will pay off when i'm sipping wine in the backyard with my two lovely new roomies and my pigbot for reals!

i remember always wanting to be michelle phillips when i was a wee little mitt. she is a beautiful inspiration, but i wonder if it was really that glamorous being her in say mid 1966? sigh, she is an inspiration that is for certain.
