here is foxy (the big one on the left). and foxy's spawn (shocked mini dude on the right). foxy does not look like this anymore, he has taken on the role of being layla's bestie since christmas, and if there was a thing as too much love, this dude has seen it. now- the problem is that foxy is sick, and i don't want to break layla's heart so i am going to try to replace him. if anyone is in the ikea area anytime soon let me know.

hello thursday!
this week has been pretty crummy. not going to lie. the weather isn't helping.
this pic helps.
cottage was amazing, life was pretty unbelievable for 3 days, but coming back to work and life was not as perfect.
house fire on my street took out 4 homes. it took 90 firefighters to put it out, so scary, was super worried about my bot until i was able to get to her.

i watched so you think you can dance last night- and maybe i have a deeper appreciation because i was a dancer for over a decade, but man, that show is soooo good. the brothers and those sisters from memphis were my favorites so far.

i need to go out tonight- blow off some steam. at least i finish work tomorrow at 1:30... on set all day monday. bah.

i am peacing out for the weekend. cottage bound!! layla has her bug spray, foxy and blanket ready to go. i have my spf 30, guitar, and cranberry hoodie in the back seat. i cannot wait to do this- first trip of the summer and it is going to be amamamazing!!!

oh man- the weekend is over and i am bummed.
here's what mine looked like:

friday
beers with my bestie jonbrown on a patio
met up with lil' wheezy for some vacation cocktails (or were they called weekenders??)
jumped into a cab with dames and tal - went to goodbad's photo show, his work was stunning as per usual.
saw costa- sigh, amazing
took a cab home, ate pizza solo, bought a rude homeless dude a bottle of water
crawled into bed

saturday
on set all morning (this is where things looked pretty ugly) we sold out-so happy smiles all around the office
frolicked with the pig
went to slorach's 30th with the hero and lil' wheezy
met up with some lovely little faces at unit (i am so sorry colleen and spence, i pulled a mega phantom, and by mega phantom i mean i bought a slice and 'we are marshall' and went to bed)

sunday
mo's day brunch with brooke and mo
made soup from scratch
gave pig a bath (steve?? did you hear that? a bath!)
watched sex in the city movie with bug (ps-why didn't anyone tell me that it was a lamer?? the show was so much better!)

also- i am totally pulling a overheard in ny, but this is what was happening in the bathroom at unit.

drunk girl #1- i am so in love with him, he's like the love of my life
drunk girl #2- he is totally in love with you
drunk girl #1- no he's not, he told me that he loves his girlfriend enough to move with her to africa
drunk girl #2- that's totally code for 'i am in love with YOU'
drunk girl #1- you think so????
drunk girl #2- totally! he's in love with you

poor thing- her friend was obviously not in any shape to give her any sound advice. here she was pouring her heart out and her friend was barely listening and clumsily layering on some lip gloss.
